How does it work?

Trigger Talend processes when files are uploaded to SFTP To Go and use Talend to read, process and write data to or from SFTP To Go.

  1. Create a Job in Talend and add a tFTPConnection component.
  2. Enable SFTP support in the connection settings.
  3. In SFTP To Go, create or select the credentials Talend will use, then copy the host, port 22, username, and password.
  4. Enter those details in Talend and choose password or SSH key authentication.
  5. Add the Talend components you need, such as tFTPGet or tFTPPut, and configure the remote folder and file paths.
  6. If you want uploads in SFTP To Go to trigger Talend automatically, generate a webhook URL for your Talend plan or task.
  7. In SFTP To Go, go to Webhooks, add the Talend webhook URL, and select the upload event.
  8. Upload a test file to SFTP To Go and confirm Talend receives the trigger and processes the file.
