We wanted to announce that starting October 2019, new add-on setups have their SFTP root set up as '/' instead of a random directory such as '/sftptg-prod-us-east-1-f22ec812-5c97-2c02-d1cd-43b1b5d12222' which is far more convenient.
If you'd like us to change the root (chroot) to '/' for an existing add-on, please reach out to our support and we'll get it done. Note that it may require changes in scripts and/or SFTP client settings on your end.
